John Harlow brings 25 years of experience as a Wall Street lawyer, investment banker and venture capitalist and as the founder of two internet service provider start-ups prior to his role as Executive Director of the Foundation.

His IT experience is broad and deep and includes the following industry certifications: Certified Wireless Network Administrator - CWNA, Certified Wireless Security Professional - CWSP, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - CCIE, SCO Advanced Certified Expert in *NIX Systems - ACE, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer - MCSE, Sun Certified Java Programmer, and ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP.

Mr. Harlow received his JD/MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.

Kathryn Harlow

Having recently developed an interdisciplinary, international, permanent laboratory for artists, writers and directors in Rome, Italy, Kathryn brings a wealth of fresh ideas to taking FCF to new levels of visibility.   A graduate with honors from Columbia University she has successfully raised funds and increased support for her alma mater, specifically their athletics program.  Further, Kathryn was captain of the rowing team at Columbia and she is an alumna interviewer for undergraduate applicants to Columbia College and the Fu School of Engineering. 

The author of an internationally published book on American English, she speaks three languages and has worked as an international translator. Currently a co-producer on the documentary “A Day in The Life—Healing Africa,” [Bridge Media] she has also written and directed original works for stage and screen. 

Lisa Hamm Barnes

Lisa Hamm, SSG, presently serves in the United States Army at Fort Hood, Texas at the Brigade S-6 shop as the assistant Noncommissioned Officer In Charge under the job field of Information System Analyst in the Army. 

Stationed in Taji, Iraq from September 2005-2006, she was responsible for the administration of  the Freedom Calls Center at Camp Taji. 

During her off time from her Army position, she dedicates many hours a week to scheduling video conferences for the Freedom Calls Foundation. Her expertise consists of:  scheduling events, Outlook, IASO, SA, CISCO, Excel and, of course, Organizing!

Bob Middleton enlisted in the Army in 1950, received a commission as a second Lt., and served as a Tank (ARMOR) Platoon Leader. He then attended Auburn University and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. He worked on the Air force B-58 Bomber, and became a Professional Engineer.  

Bob joined NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center in 1962. He was very involved in the Saturn Program, Skylab, and several proposed new Space vehicles, and space technology efforts.  He retired in 1990 as a technology Program Manager and soon joined the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a part time volunteer and Staff member where he now serves as a Senior Research engineer in the Office of the Provost. He was involved in the initiation of their Internet based classes, and these efforts are now the subject of a Microsoft Case Study.

Bob has been a strong supporter of Freedom Calls Foundation, and his UAH Streaming Video Server now hosts the internet Video of Freedom Calls conference newscasts, as seen on local TV Stations across the country. Bob has also been active in recruiting partner sites in the Southeast U.S. to host freedom Calls video conferences.
